Pinnacle Hike

Destination: Lenhartsville, Pa - west of Allentown - near Hawk Mountain
Included: A guided moderate 8 mile hike, rewarded with an awesome panoramic view
of the farmlands below.
This is said to be one of the best vistas along the Appalachian Trail.

Peter's Mountain Hike

Destination: near Harrisburg, Pa
Included: A moderate-difficult almost 5 mile guided hike with impressive views
of the confluence of the Juniata & Susquehanna Rivers.
Price: DD members....no charge, others....$3 upon arrival.

This is a great workout hike, and dogs are welcome with advance notice!
Mount Tammany Hike

Destination: Delaware Water Gap area
Included: A guided, partly very difficult, 5 mile hike with an awesome view of
the Water Gap below.
Price: DD Members....no charge. others....$3 upon arrival.

Hiking boots are recommended, and dogs are welcome!
Kelly's Run Hike Hike
Date: Sunday, March 29
Carpool departure: 10 am - King of Prussia
Destination: Southwest Lancaster County
Included: A guided moderate-difficult 5 mile hike, partly along the picturesque
stream (run), and a very scenic overlook 500 feet above the Susquehanna River.
Price: Members....no charge, others...$3 (upon arrival).

Blue Marsh Hike
Date: Saturday, April 4
Carpool departures: 10 am-King of Prussia....10:20-Collegeville
Destination: near Reading, Pa
Included: An easy-moderate 5 mile hike with views of Blue Marsh Lake, and an
opportunity to photograph the local herd of Scottish Highland Cattle.
Price: Members....no charge,
others....$3 (upon arrival).
Option: Rendezvous at a local pub & deli after the hike.

Glances with Wolves
Date: Saturday, April 25
Carpool departure: 8:30 am....near Lansdale turnpike interchange.
Destination: Columbia, New Jersey....not far from the Delaware Water Gap
Included: An informal presentation on the social structure of wolf packs, eating
habits, interaction with humans, viewing four packs of Arctic, Tundra, and
Timber (or Gray) wolves in a stress free setting.
Also view and learn about the resident bobcats & foxes. The entire program is 90
minutes, and well worth the price.

Mount Minsi Hike

Whitewater Rafting
Date: Saturday, May 2
Bus departure: 6 pm Friday....King of Prussia....Returns 5 pm Saturday
Included: Roundtrip motorcoach, one night in two bedroom suites (2 per suite),
Cheat River rafting on Saturday (guide in each raft), Dinner aboard the bus
Friday night, breakfast & lunch on Saturday.
Price: Members....$259, others....$269 by Friday, April 10...Add $20 after.
Extras: Raft the Upper Yough @ $45 additional....wetsuit rentals discounted @

Rooming options: 3 & 4 persons per suite can be offered @ lower cost - each

Upper Yough restriction: Must have prior rafting experience, or good physical

FYI: In an effort to keep the costs down, we're keeping the motorcoach, and the
rooms over one night only.

Outdoor Climbing-Rappelling
